A girl from Cairns

My name is Judy Adams and I am 12 years old. I come from the state of  Queensland in Australia. I live in a town called Cairns on the north-east coast. My mum's name is Colleen. She's a teacher in a secondary school (not my school). My dad is called Owen. He's a doctor and he works in Cairns Central Hospital. I've also got a sister. Her name is Gillian and she's twenty-one years old. She's a student at Queensland State University, but she also works in a supermarket in the evenings. I go to Garfooth Secondary School in Cairns. We study about ten different subject. My favourite subject are geography and Japanese. We also do a lot of sport in my school. I play tennis and basketball-  I'm in the school's junior basketball team: In my free time I watch television, listen to music and play games on the  computer. On saturday and Sunday I meet my friends. We go shopping in the city centre or we go swimming at the beach. TThere are fantastic beaches in Coirns.
